Thank you for your continued support.
This year marks the 152nd anniversary of Asahi Printing. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone that has continued to support our company over the years.

Since Asahi Printing was founded in 1872, we have been developing and expanding our business as a top manufacturer of packaging materials for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, while facing and overcoming various troubles and trials in the turbulence of the times. I believe the longevity of Asahi Printing is a testament to our ability to continually innovate ourselves as the times require.
We do this by not only preserving the history and credibility of our business, but by also proactively approaching occasional crises as turning points and opportunities for transformation and innovation that lead to further growth and development.

In the past several years, to strengthen and diversify our domestic production system, we have built a new manufacturing base in Kyoto and established a production system in the Toyama and Kyoto areas.
In addition, with the aim of establishing a share of the printing and packaging market in ASEAN, we acquired Malaysia printing companies Harleigh (Malaysia), Shin-Nippon Industries and Kinta Press & Packaging as bases for overseas business development. These initiatives will be a boost for the next stage of our business.
We will continue to boldly take on new challenges ahead of our competitors to swiftly respond to the needs of our customers and community.

At the same time, it is also important to embrace the spirit of “continuity and change.” While it is extremely important to be able to innovate and change with the times, we must also preserve our core value. While I believe we should prioritize a customer-oriented approach, we should also strive for a management style that aligns the perpetual growth of our company with the happiness of our employees.
This is the enduring spirit of “valuing people” that has been passed down over generations at Asahi Printing, which we should be steadfast in preserving, along with the values of “corporate integrity” that we show to our valued partners.
We will continue to build our legacy for the next 50 and 100 years based on the spirit of continuity and change.

In 2022, we have formulated the mid-term business plan AX2024 (Asahi Transformation 2024). Under this mid-term business plan, we have been working on reforms while leveraging Asahi Printing's strengths and promoting initiatives to create new value.
This fiscal year is the final year of “AX2024," and we will continue to work on "AX2024" to provide our customers with inspiring products and services that creates an impact, and build a stronger management structure, while also focusing on the next mid-term business plan.
