Corporate Governance
Basic Approach
Asahi Printing believes that the purpose of corporate governance is to ensure efficient and transparent management, thereby continuously enhancing corporate value for all stakeholders.
While fulfilling our responsibilities to shareholders is a core mission, we also recognize the importance of being accountable to other stakeholders, including employees, business partners, and local communities. Building trust with society as a whole is essential.
To achieve this, we emphasize compliance and aim to establish a management system capable of accurate decision-making, swift execution, and proper oversight.
We also recognize the importance of timely and appropriate information disclosure to ensure management transparency.
Governance Structure
As a company with an Audit & Supervisory Board, Asahi Printing ensures prompt and appropriate management decisions and supervision through the Board of Directors and the Audit & Supervisory Board.
In addition, we enhance governance through collaboration between independent outside directors, external auditors with specialized knowledge, and our internal audit department.

Compliance
Compliance with laws and regulations is a top priority at Asahi Printing. We have established a Compliance Office and conduct annual training based on the Asahi Printing Group Code of Conduct. We maintain a corporate culture of integrity by strictly rejecting any ties to antisocial forces and implementing a whistleblower system to detect and respond to misconduct at an early stage.
Risk Management
To identify and respond to operational risks that could hinder sustainable business development, we have established a Risk Management Committee comprising department heads and group company presidents. This committee meets regularly to assess risk responses and implement necessary measures, thereby strengthening our risk management framework.
Intellectual Property Initiatives
Basic Approach
We regard the protection of intellectual property as a key component of corporate ethics and compliance. We respect the intellectual property of others while also protecting and leveraging our own. Encouraging technological development and acquiring patents not only help differentiate our new products in the market but also reduce IP-related risks for our customers.
IP Action Policy
1.Code of Conduct
We respect intellectual property and contribute to society through the identification, application, and utilization of inventions and patents.
2.Compliance with Laws and Ethics
We comply with laws related to intellectual property rights and uphold social ethics.
3.Management System
In accordance with this policy, we manage the intellectual property of our company group through a centralized intellectual property management department, ensuring that our intellectual property is not infringed upon by others and that we do not infringe upon the intellectual property of others.
Intellectual Property Activities
At Asahi Printing, intellectual property such as patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks is considered a vital management asset. We engage in various initiatives to create and enhance the value of these assets.
