Anticancer drugs are expensive, and some of them are dangerous to skin in case of vial breakage; thus, assurance of shock-absorbing is crucial.

The space between the vial and the carton notably softens the shock from outside to the vial. Besides, practitioners do not have to hold a vial directly when they transfer the content to a syringe, which prevents the drug from spilling to their skin.
